My desk setup is a space where I get my best work done. The calm atmosphere, combined with ample natural light, transforms it into a personal nook for creativity and focus.
I've always had a passion for design—it's a universal skill that transcends mediums, encompassing products, decor, architecture, processes, fashion, and experiences. In high school, during the dawn of the digital era, I was captivated by the magic of websites and spent countless hours learning how to piece them together. Realising that coding was key to bringing my visions to life, I turned to Treehouse to learn HTML, SASS, and PHP for WordPress templates.
At 17, I attended Griffith University on the Gold Coast, creating designs and websites for clients from my dorm room. My website was featured on various award sites and blogs, leading to international freelance opportunities. After internships, full-time roles at places like BLK Sports, and a stint as a UX/UI designer with Experience Oz, I set my sights on Brisbane in 2015. There, I joined JSA Creative, honing my UI/UX design skills.
My passion for product design and problem-solving drives me to simplify complexity, creating seamless and intuitive user experiences. I believe a good user experience should be invisible, effortlessly guiding users to their goals without them even realising it.
In 2019, I embraced full-time freelancing for its flexibility and mental health benefits. The shift to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic has further expanded opportunities, allowing work from anywhere. I'm grateful for where this journey has taken me and excited for what's ahead. If you're looking for a fresh, creative perspective on your project or want to discuss the latest in design and technology, let's connect and create something spectacular together.
